1️⃣ Today is the due date to file GSTR-3B <= Rs. 5 Cr. (QRMP-Noth & East States) without any late fee and Interest @9% p.a. for the month of Mar-21.

2️⃣ W.e.f. 25.05.2021, Late Fees and Interest @18% p.a. shall be levied.


3️⃣ GST Returns: Government collected INR 107 Crore as GST Late Fee in last Two Years (RTI).


4️⃣ Small businesses need more time for GST compliances: survey.

"Over the last few weeks, the portal has seen steady increase in usage with taxpayers’ concerns being progressively addressed. So far over 3 crore taxpayers have logged into the portal and have successfully completed various transactions. Even as the portal makes sustained progress with crores of taxpayers successfully performing transactions, the Company acknowledges the difficulties some users continue to experience and is working expeditiously, in collaboration with the Income Tax Department, to further streamline end-user experience," the company said in a BSE filing on September 23. Delhi govt collects Rs 5,281 crore GST in Q1FY22

  In a sign of revival in the city economy hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the Delhi government collected Rs 5,281 crore GST in the first quarter of the current financial year, officials said. Delhi was under complete lockdown due to a surge in COVID cases in the second wave, from April 19 till May 31, following which the phased unlock process began with allowing construction and manufacturing activities. In April-June 2021-22, the Goods and Services (GST) tax collection was Rs 5,281 crore that was higher than Rs 2,943 crore in the corresponding period last year, said a senior Delhi government officer. The increase in GST is a sign of growing commercial and trade activities after the coronavirus-induced lockdown, he said.
